Portlaoise Ladies Hockey Club in its current form was established in 2004 by a group of hockey enthusiasts in the area. The club is primarily based at Togher Rugby Club in Portlaoise just off exit 17 from the M7 motorway. Since its establishment the club has grown in both size and performance. In both 2011 and 2012 Portlaoise completed in and won the South East Division II Cup. The clubs training takes place on Tuesdays at 7pm and Thursdays at 7.30 pm and players of all levels are welcome.
